Art in the Park, an event that celebrates local and regional talent, has showcased fine art and crafts since its creation in 1962 by a group of area artists and craftspeople.

Today, the event features dozens of vendors and is held in a series of six shows from May through October. A professional jury upholds the event's high standards, attracting artisans from across the Southeast who exhibit handcrafted jewelry, pottery, fiber, glass, photography, painting, and more. The quality of the work draws thousands of visitors each month.

Administered by the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce, the event is enthusiastically supported by the town and local businesses. The Chamber is proud to promote and exhibit a wide variety of top talent, and the public eagerly anticipates each season.
